De-attraction: Though some things may seem like they are meant for each other, in the end it just doesn't work.
Dreams: dreams have always fascinated me. Our mind takes bits and pieces of all we know and turns it into something completely different. When we dream of something that we want to happen in the future it is often a vague image that we conjure around a deep hope. All too often we experience the bitter sadness that comes as a result of shattered dreams.
Journey: this piece tells the story of its own creation. Though the eye is originally drawn to the large white shape in the upper left hand corner, it does not take long to notice the other mass of sketchy lines beneath this. These lines are the marks that were made on the canvas from cutting the large white shape. This piece is about not only seeing the destination, but remembering the journey that it took to get there.
Hidden: there are many layers to every human being. What you see depends on what they choose to show.
